Have you ever counted the wooden things in your house? Flooring, closets, chests of drawers, shelves, furniture, tables and an endless number of possible decorations to outfit your home? Why not stick to that line everywhere?

We don't want to tell you that you're a fan of wood, but you have to admit that wood is everywhere, and we can't deny that we like the way it looks and that it gives a cozier touch to your spaces, but is that enough?

We'll see what you think after reading these 6 reasons to clad your home with wood:

  1. Always on trend

From classic to minimalistic, in old TV series or futuristic films, wood is a constant element. Decorating your home won’t be difficult, considering that we’re already surrounded by wood.

  1. Longevity

It doesn’t matter how much time goes by, wood is a highly resistant, low-maintenance material. You can redecorate as many times as you’d like and it will continue to give your spaces an authentic style, pairing perfectly with the changes. It’s a perfect match for every season of the year, which makes it an investment that will last through time.

  1. Cozy in winter, breezy in summer

Wood is the ideal material for a space's climate control. It acts as a thermal insulator, conserving heat in winter, which means big savings in heating, and in summer it maintains a more temperate environment, resulting in ideal temperatures at any time of the year. You won’t need to go outside.

  1. Peace and tranquility

Noise pollution is common in cities, and exposure to high noise levels can have harmful effects on your health, such as sleep disorders, irritability, etc. Often there is little we can do about this problem, however, covering home spaces with wood, such as bedrooms, can have a very positive effect on your health and mood, since wood works as an acoustic insulator, reducing noise, and can give you a better rest and pleasant moments to unwind.

  1. Simple and natural

It's a proven fact that contact with nature provides a sense of comfort and well-being, and lining your spaces with wood helps reduce the activation of the sympathetic nervous system, lowering stress levels and blood pressure. The mental health benefits of contact with wood can make a big difference in your day-to-day life.

  1. Interior decorator

Cladding your walls with wood can boost your creative side, whether you go for the textural or colorful approach, you can play the role of your own interior decorator, giving your home a unique style and personality.
